I am a psychotherapist (registered clinical psychologist) currently working in central Ballito, and have been practising for over thirty-five years.
Having qualified as a clinical psychologist in the mid-1980s, I conducted a small private practice alongside my tenure as a university academic until 2011.
Since 2012 I have been in full-time private practice. Besides working as a psychotherapist, I also supervise colleagues in my field, and run workshops.
Feeling depressed and anxious are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through psychotherapy we are able to help you recover perspective, a secure sense of self, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events, including the loss of people close to us. Psychotherapy can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of healing and grief.
